Veera & The Wolverine State : Day #2 The Strip & "The Casino Experience"

On our second day in Vegas we were meant to sleep in and go explore the city. However for some reason two of our team members were up giggling already at 9am. They made this up by getting some Malibu from 7-Eleven for breakfast. After enjoying our classy budget breakfast on the balcony we headed out to sunny Las Vegas.

Toisena päivänä Vegasissa tarkotus oli nukkua pitkään, mut kaks meidän matkaseurueesta oli hereillä kikattamassa jo aamuyheksältä. Nää hyvitti tän hakemalla Malibua huoltsikalta aamupalaks. Nautittiin tasokas ja herkullinen budjettiaamiainen meidän parvekkeella ja lähdettiin matkaan aurinkoiseen Vegasiin.

Our first pit stop was a tattoo parlor right outside our hotel. Me and Ellen got a whim the previous night about getting matching tattoos, and we wanted to check out the pricing of the place. We thought that if we'd get our tat done for under $30 we'd consider. The place named their price at $10 and 5 minutes later I was getting inked up.

Eka pysähdys oli ensimmäinen tatuointiliike meidän hotellilta. Saatiin Ellenin kanssa edellisiltana idea, et mitä jos otettais Vegasin hengessä samistatuoinnit, ja haluttiin ainakin käydä tsekkaamassa hinta. Ajateltiin, et jos alle kolmellakympillä irtoaa niin harkitaan asiaa. Paikka pisti hinnaks kymmenen dollaria, ja viis minuuttia myöhemmin istuinkin sit kinttu ojossa tatskattavana.

After getting tattooed we walked around The Strip. And walked. And walked. And walked some more. And some more. And more. By the time we WALKED back to our hotel we were absolutely exhausted. All of us wanted to have quick nap before heading to the casinos, so we all laid down for a bit. When we woke up, it was past midnight, and we were still exhausted. Sticking to our original plan for the night we dragged ourselves (WALKING) to the nearest hotel/casino Stratosphere. None of us had enough energy to really gamble, but we had goofing around with the slot machines.

Tatuoimisoperaation jälkeen käveltiin ympäriinsä The Stripillä. Ja käveltiin vähän lisää. Ja lisää. Ja vielä vähän päälle. Siihen mennessä kun päästiin KÄVELLEN takasin hotellille, oltiin kaikki aivan poikki. Haluttiin ottaa pikku päikkärit ennen kasinolle lähtemistä, joten pistettiin kaikki pitkäkseen hetkeksi. Kun tästä heräiltiin, olikin kello jo yli puolen yön ja oltiin edelleen ihan kuolleita. Kuitenkin alkuperäisen suunnitelman mukaan raahattiin itsemme lähimmälle kasinolle, The Stratosphereen. KÄVELLEN. Kellään meistä ei ollut energiaa varsinaiseen uhkapelaamiseen, mut pelleiltiin erilaisten kolikkoautomaattien kanssa.
